Agriculture: In the coming days, we will work on exporting wheat and barley crops

On Sunday, Agriculture Minister Saleh al-Hasani announced self-sufficiency of the wheat crop, while noting that the coming days would export the wheat and barley crops.
Al-Hassani said in a press conference held today with Trade Minister Alaa Al-Jubouri and "Al-Eqtisad News" followed him, "The marketing season for the wheat crop has been completed with a productivity of more than five million tons," indicating that
"we have achieved self-sufficiency for the wheat crop."
He added, "In the coming days, we will work on exporting wheat and barley crops," noting that
"all wheat and barley crops that were produced will be delivered to the Ministry of Trade."
He called on "the prime minister to direct the Ministry of Finance to hand over the farmers' dues."
