Industry announces the entry of the private sector as a key partner in the rehabilitation of factories

Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals revealed the entry of the private sector as a key partner in the rehabilitation of factories throughout Iraq.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Mortada Al-Safi, said in an exclusive statement to the "National News Center", that "the stalled factories throughout the country will be restored to work after completing them in three stages."
Noting that "the ministry adopted the slogan raised by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi (Made in Iraq) in order to revive the Iraqi industry and enhance local production."
Al-Safi pointed out that, "During the last six months of 2020, the Ministry of Industry made tangible progress in implementing its governmental curriculum and a number of achievements to advance and revive the Iraqi industry through the implementation of the plan to rehabilitate the suspended factories, amounting to 83 factories."
He continued, "The plan included 3 phases, where in the first phase about
17 factories were rehabilitated, then about
24 factories, and finally
42 factories," explaining,
"Also, production lines and new projects were established with the support and partnership of the private sector, which has become a key partner in re-making in Iraq."
