Rafidain Bank revealed, on Monday, the reasons for the delay in launching electronic loans.
The Director General of the Bank of Industry and the Rafidain Bank, Bilal Sabah Agency, told the official news agency, "The Rafidain Bank has not yet launched electronic loans," indicating that
"electronic loans need account and account opening systems."
He added that "the conversion of the accounting system in the bank has been done, but the promotion of the transaction (online) has not yet reached it.
It is included in the systems programs, but we have not reached the stage of electronic loans."
He pointed out that "the Industrial Bank is working on the use of the electronic loan, but we have some stages to be completed, because the loans go through several stages, not one stage."
He pointed out that "Al-Rafidain Bank has not started the stages of electronic loans until the moment, and it needs time."
He continued, "The Rafidain Bank has several loans for employees and citizens of (5-10-15-20) million dinars, in addition to the 50-million-dinar loan for housing, car loans and commercial loans." Ended 29/R77
