Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq sponsors the celebration of Basra branch on the occasion of its establishment
His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mr. Mustafa Ghalib, was sponsored on Monday, on Monday, the central bank branch held in Basra on the occasion of the sixty-fifth anniversary of its founding.
The celebration was attended by the Governor of Basra, Mr. Asaad Al-Eidani and a number of concerned in the banking and financial sector in the province. His Excellency in his speech during the ceremony, said that "Basra Governorate represents the economic lung for Iraq and is an important and exercise, as well as its historical position, and this is what uses to strengthen the work of the banking sector."
"The Central Bank's development initiatives have contributed to the support and establishment of projects in southern Iraq and reflected positively on the economy in these provinces by creating new jobs and expanding the local industry," he said.
His Excellency the Governor briefed the workflow procedures of the Bank's sections in Basra. "The efforts to manage branch and employees", praised "to overcome all the obstacles and difficulties facing their work."
