The director of the Jubbah Municipality Department in Anbar Governorate, Qatari Al-Obaidi, revealed, on Sunday, that the oil and gas fields discovered on the island of Al-Baghdadi district are comparable to the fields of Qatar and Russia.
Al-Obaidi said in a statement to the Information Agency, “The Oil Exploration Company is one of the formations of the Ministry of Oil that is conducting exploration operations on oil and gas fields in the Jazirat Al-Baghdadi area in the district of Hit, west of Anbar.
