Maliki: Iraq emerging economic environment is a strong

Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on Wednesday in a speech to U.S. Chamber of Commerce on the sidelines of his visit to the U.S. that Iraq has become an economic environment resulting in a solid, and has all the investment opportunities set by the U.S. companies, expressing the readiness of the Iraqi government to make a lot of privileges and encouraging decisions to enter U.S. companies to the Iraqi market by conducting the necessary amendments to the legislation and laws related to investment.
Maliki said during the meeting which was attended by a number of American businessmen and the Iraqis, that the strategic framework, which was signed between Iraq and America was among the obligations that the rise in the private sector in trade and construction, stressing that the government would be ready to facilitate all the steps needed by the business as legislation and the end of the proceedings.
He added that the partnership with Iraq, the United States during the last period would be supportive of future partnership, and that Iraq today on the threshold of a new relationship will not be invalidated, the military and the generals, but will be entrepreneurs and companies.
He said during his speech that state television that "the workload is too large, especially in the areas of agriculture, industry, construction, and the ample opportunity for all to enter the Iraqi market to invest and contribute to the process of construction and reconstruction.
The Council called for the Iraqi-US business cooperation and coordination with U.S. companies to bypass the obstacles that stand in the companies wishing to invest and work in Iraq.
Al-Maliki arrived in the United States on Monday on an official visit lasting several days. Met during the visit of U.S. President Barack Obama and discussed with him the U.S. withdrawal from Iraq and the future relationship between the two countries in the post-withdrawal.
