National Commission on Iraq's accession to the WTO will hold its meeting of 29

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: held at the Ministry of Commerce twenty-ninth meeting of the National Commission on Iraq's accession to the WTO is headed by the Minister of Trade Khairallah Hassan Babiker, and includes members from all relevant Iraqi ministries.
According to a statement of the ministry has discussed the meeting, chaired by Hashim Mohammed Hatem Director General of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations on behalf of the Minister of Commerce and attended by members of the Committee of all the ministries and a representative of the Chamber of Commerce of Iraq and the Iraqi Industries Union a number of items and topics in the context of accession to the WTO and achievements, especially after Altfawdatin successful rounds of Iraq with the organization and the completion of the bulk of the files required by the WTO as well as laws and projects that have been added by the Iraqi government bodies to relate to activities organized by the Organization.
According to the statement were also discussed recent developments regarding the completion of tables to file the initial presentation of the goods should be submitted to the WTO for the purpose of negotiating it with the Member States of the Organization in the third round of negotiations with the WTO.
The meeting also discussed the necessity of activating private sector activity and to follow developments and proposals relevant to the organization and in line with WTO requirements and was recently formed Technical Committee on the role of the private sector and that have a link and connection with the services of the Ministry of Commerce on the private sector and the unions that represent the Iraqi private sector, In addition to review of views on the subject of Iraq's accession to the WTO and Mo stop from joining the Iraqi government, through the two studies were prepared in this regard.
It was also emphasized during the meeting on the mechanism of action of the National Commission on Iraq's accession to the WTO and the necessity that each member in turn, within the scope of his ministry in the clarification and education of the importance of joining and the benefits that will get Iraq to join and the possibility of developing solutions and treatments of the constraints faced by Iraq upon joining, and the emphasis Members of the National Committee of the necessity of cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Commerce in order to expedite the examination and updating of files required by the WTO.
