BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Planning Minister has discussed with the Jordanian Minister of Public Works & Housing in Amman on Sunday the participation by Jordanian companies in the process of Iraq’s development, reiterating that “the Iraqi citizen shall witness an improvement in public services during theforthcoming few months, due to the end of important phases of Iraq’s reconstruction process.”"Planning Minister, Dr.Ali Yousif al-Shukri, has conferred in Amman with the Jordanian Minister of Public Works & Housing, Engineer Yahya al-Kasbythe joint cooperation between both sisterly countries, especially in the field of projects of building roads, housing and contractors, along with the discussion of the development of bilateral relations and means for the acceleration of the development process in Iraq,” a Planning Ministry statementreported on Sunday.The statement quoted Minister Shukri as saying that “Iraqi Ministries and Provinces have achieved an important goal in the field of reconstruction, thanks to the increase of Iraqi oil exports and the improvement of the national expertise,” reiterating that “the Iraqi citizen shall witness during the forthcoming months an improvement in public services, due to the completion of the most significant phases in the process of reconstruction, that had been achieved thanks to the cohesion of efforts by the central government and the provinces.”On his part, the Jordanian Minister of Public Works & Housing confirmed “Jordan’s support for Iraq to achieve its progress and to help Iraqis build their country, as well as necessity of boosting means of cooperation between the two sisterly countries, especially in the field of roads, housing,building and contractors activity.” 1394
