The Department of Najaf refinery, Tuesday, that the financial revenues achieved by the province amounted to more than 17 billion dinars from the project Alaptrodolarellaam 2011, after the position to increase production by 30 percent over the predecessor.
The director of the refinery Leith Gharrawi, in an interview for "Alsumaria News", "refinery was able to achieve an increase of 30 percent in production in 2011 compared to predecessor, which reflected positively on the income of the province of the law of the petro-dollar, which reached 17 billion and 200 million Iraqi dinars" .
He Gharrawi, that "the liquidator repeated in 2011 the last 7,000,174 barrels of oil," noting that "the production of white oil was 111 million liters, in 2011, compared to 85.0006 million liters in 2010, an increase and reached 30 percent as well. "
The director of Najaf refinery, that "the production of kerosene reached 196 000 128 thousand liters in 2011 compared to 153 000 634 thousand liters in 2010 and to increase and reached 28 percent," pointing out that "the production of black oil was 292 000 160 thousand liters per 2011 from B 320 000 457 thousand liters in 2010, an increase of 35 percent. "
The work was the establishment of the first phase of Najaf refinery began in 2006 and the unity of one, then two units have been added, bringing the production of ten thousand to thirty thousand barrels per day.
The Najaf refinery management announced before, that 2010 saw an increase of production by 80 percent compared to what has been achieved in 2009.
