Erbil, January 4 (Rn) - A Governor of Erbil Nawzad Hadi, said the budget for development of the regions of Erbil Governorate for the current year 2012 has not yet determined, indicating that our information suggests that the amount of this year's budget is greater than last year.
He Nawzad Hadi, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) announced today that he "has so far not been informed of the size of the regional development budget allocated to the province of Arbil in 2012," noting that "the information that we have received indicate only that the sum is greater than last year's budget."
He said Hadi said that "during 2011, according to the plan developed by the province of Arbil, we were able to implement 746 projects in various sectors at a cost of 242 billion Iraqi dinars," noting that "70% of the projects last year has been completed, and the reason for the delay other projects due to the delayed payment the budget. "
"We were able last year to deliver the national electrical energy to a large number of villages, the city of Arbil, however, there are 200 villages not electrified so far."
And allocate the Iraqi government's budget development of regions, which gives its budget by the Ministry of Finance after determining the Ministry of Planning needs of each of the projects and to establish the budget according to the percentage of the population of the provinces of Iraq, a step taken by the Iraqi government to support the built projects in all governorates of Iraq after 2003.
