Parliament rejects request to intervene in the investigation of al-Hashemi with protection

declared the House of Representatives on Thursday rejected a request to the Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi for the formation of a parliamentary committee overseeing the stages of the investigation with the defendants in his case, noting that this request is illegal, and the formation of this committee is an encroachment on the independence of the judiciary. A member of the Legal Committee of the Board of Deputies Mohsen Saadoun, "The House of Representatives rejects the request, Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi to form a committee to supervise the defendants in his case, nor can the House of Representatives to intervene in his case."
It is said that Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi, has called on Thursday in a statement his office, the formation of a parliamentary committee representing all the blocks to visit the detainees in the case of the privately with them and hear them directly for details of the investigation which was conducted with them, calling on the Supreme Judicial Council to speed up the transfer case out of Baghdad to provide the conditions appropriate to conduct the investigation with him.
He Sadoun said "the Iraqi constitution stressed the separation of powers, and can not interfere with the legislative authority in the work of the executive branch."
and that "the formation of any committee by the House in this court case is an encroachment on the judiciary."
The Alliance Kurdistan yesterday that "the powers of the Kurdistan region has not received any memorandum of request from the federal judiciary to arrest Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi and handed over to Baghdad, noting that Tariq al-Hashemi, the Iraqi List, believe that the federal judiciary politicized and loss of independence.
and the present Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi issued an arrest warrant on charges of terrorism, is currently in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, after being offered to the Iraqi Interior Ministry, in the 19 of December, the confessions of some Hamayate on their acts of violence on his orders.
