Foreign Relations Discusses the Protection of Iraqi Funds and Debt Rescheduling
Discussed the Foreign Relations Committee in the House of Representatives the protection of Iraqi funds and rescheduling of debt owed by Iraq.
A statement by the Foreign Relations Committee, the Committee headed by its President Sheikh Hamoudi hosted Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohammed al-Haj Hamoud to discuss the issue of Iraq out of Chapter VII and its implications, and whether the interests of Iraq to resolve the obligations of a deal out of it once.
“The statement,” to protect Iraqi funds and rescheduling of debt owed by Iraq were also topics discussed at the meeting, in addition to discussing the ratification of the Additional Protocol to the Comprehensive Safeguards Agreement and the fulfillment of the obligations of Iraq’s international and diplomatic move, legal internationally broadly to end the commitments of the past endured by Iraq because of the policies of Saddam’s regime.
He explained that the meeting also dealt with other issues including the draft Law on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the relationship with the ministry at the beginning of the new year.
