Iraq enthrone his economic policies by openness to the world

Iraq crowned its economical policies by signing a cooperation agreement in various fields with Italy. This will allow increasing trade exchange between the two countries, according to Iraqi Foreign Minister Zebari, rising from five billion dollars to the highest levels. The investment and employment opportunities will be available to Italian companies.
The second ministerial meeting had been held last Wednesday of the Iraqi - Italian joint Commission in Baghdad under the chairmanship of the Foreign Ministers of the two countries and the participation of the Ministers of Finance, Transport and representatives of the relevant Iraqi ministries in the Committee and representatives of ministries and major Italian companies and the relevant infrastructure and engineering.
In the relentless pace of the government to encourage investment, A convention was signed during the meeting for the protection and promotion of investment between the two countries and the continuation of negotiations on some items. The Italian minister Frantini, said that Iraq is progressing and evolving and will play a regional and important role in the future.
Meantime, the Minister of Finance Dr. Rafie al-Issawi signed the agreement with the minister Frantini, and include the protection of Italian investments in Iraq, which would facilitate the entry of 47 Italians companies to the country which was agreed to enter at the end of last year for the purpose of the reconstruction of Iraq and to investing in the areas of building complexes, schools, water plants and electricity. Hadi al-Amery, Minister of Transport also signed with Frattini on the bilateral air agreement between Iraq and Italy, which regulate air links between the two countries, which gives the green light to the Italian companies air and Iraqi flights bilateral between the two countries.
The deal is the first of which will be held with the State of the Group of Eight, which means that the authorities of the Iraqi Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Transport has made steps forward in the achievement of international claims and the high standards adopted by the these countries since the signing of the agreement is recognition of the standards developed for the Iraqi authorities. During the signing of the agreement to discuss the prospects of future cooperation at the start establishing project Faw, who was one of the Italian companies had completed its final designs.
