BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: A State of Law MP, Abbas al-Bayati announced today that the Kuwaiti invitation to Premier Nouri al-Maliki is still valid and remains under preparation.
Bayati told Aswat al-Iraq that "the invitation will discuss the main question between the two brotherly countries".
He added that the preparations are being made to determine its time and priorities.
"Surely, we want to develop our relations with Kuwait and other neighborly countries following the US forces withdrawal", he elaborated.
Bayati added that there are many dossiers to be discussed during this visit, including bilateral relations and the Mubarak terminal, "matters which need not be discussed through media channels, but through official meetings".
