Christian party calls for Maliki to step down from power

warned of the Secretary-General of the Democratic Party of Iraqi Christian Minas Ibrahim from the division of Iraq is in continuation of what he described as policies uniqueness in power pursued by al-Maliki.

Ibrahim said in a press statement received (range) a copy of it that the only way to exit Iraq from the current crisis is Maliki's resignation and the holding of early parliamentary elections. hello to hold national conference of political forces in Erbil or Sulaimaniya, adding that the only guarantee for the success of this conference is to al-Maliki step down from the post of prime minister.

He also was expected that, immediately after the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, for fear of its fragile risk decided the Maliki government to make its single-wing, filling the road in front of any partnership and realistic, using a filter enemies in the Iraqi national forces, physically and politically.

He said the current government and its practices began bring the country into sectarian wars and increased insecurity and explosions .. The refusal of legal demands and legitimacy to the people of the provinces of Diyala and Salah al-Din to declare the region and supporting the militias which occupied government buildings in Diyala province, to protest the request of the regionalization of the province, in addition to issuing arrest warrants forged against the Vice President of the Republic and it is dismissed Deputy Prime Minister comes all part of the plan coordinated with the Iranian regime against all who oppose the extension of Iranian influence in Iraq ... (As he put it).

Ibrahim pointed out that Iraq is still under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations and thus become subject to the trusteeship of the United Nations, stressing the role of the United Nations as well as the role of Arab countries to help the Iraqi people to get out of the current crisis and invited them to play a more active and effective.
