Dubai launches first flight to Baghdad

Erbil Jan. 15 (PNA) - started the United Arab Emirates, Wednesday, the conduct of the first flights to the capital, Baghdad, bringing the number of flights to Iraq to four points far Erbil and Sulaymaniyah and Baghdad, and the end of this month to the city of Najaf.
The airline said the UAE (Flydubai) that it "has launched her first trip to the Iraqi capital Baghdad, expanding the route network growing in the region," noting that this would contribute to "increase the number of points of Fly Dubai to Iraq to three points of Arbil and Sulaymaniyah and Baghdad."
The airline recently announced "start direct flights to the fourth point in Iraq, a city of Najaf on 29 of this month."
The company added that "the number of direct flights offered by now risen to fourteen weekly flights to Iraq," indicating that "the first flight, bearing the number 215FZ launched yesterday from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport opened at 355, up to Baghdad at 1545 GMT Dubai ".
The volume of trade exchange with Iraq's State of the United Arab Emirates with a $ 6.5 billion compared to only 5 billion in 2009. And the Iraqi government is seeking to activate trade with the UAE in 2012 to $ 7 billion in the initial phase.
Also working in Iraq are currently 24 UAE companies in various fields, including trade between the two countries, all industrial and agricultural products and food and service.
