No desire to participate in new Kurdish gov’t – Kurdish Islamic Group

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Kurdish Islamic Group “has no intention of participating in the new government due to be formed by Njirvan Barzani,” a political member of the group has said today. Abdul Sattar Majeed told IraqiNews.com that “a meeting was held by Njirvan Barzani and the Chairman of the Islamic Group Ali Papier where they discussed the situation in the Kurdish region and Iraq, but did not tackle the formation of the new government”. “If all problems are solved in the Kurdish government and the four demands of the president of the region are implemented and the opposition project is accepted, then we will negotiate and talk about the participation in the coming government”, he elaborated. Njirvan Barzani was nominated by Kurdistan Democratic Party, headed by Masoud Barzani, to the premiership of the Kurdish region to replace Doctor Barham Saleh.
