Baghdad (AIN) –The head of the Kurdish Bloc in Parliament denied media reports over “holding a meeting for the three presidencies with the preparatory committee at the house of the President Jalal Talabani on Monday.”
In a statement to All Iraq News Agency, Masoum Said Monday “The whole issue is in the hand of the preparatory committee which will hold its next meeting on next Wednesday.”
Earlier, some MPs have mentioned that “The three presidencies will hold a meeting on Monday to discuss the results of the preparatory committee’s meetings.”
“Blocs do not have a prior agreement over not including the case of the judicially wanted Vice-President Tariq al-Hashimi or withdrawing confidence from Deputy Premier Salih al-Mutleg on the agenda of the expected National Meeting and blocs still can discuss these cases during the coming meetings of the preparatory committee,” he stressed. /End/
