Baghdad (AIN) –The head of the Fadhila Parliamentary bloc MP Ammar Tuma expected setting the details of the agenda for the National Meeting “within the next two weeks.”
He stated to All Iraq News Agency Tuesday “After the last meeting of the preparatory committee, we can say that the details of the agenda for the National Meeting will be set during the next two weeks after uniting the paper works submitted by the political blocs.”
“The last meeting agreed to unite the submitted paper works to be send later to a committee formed by the three major blocs represented by the Kurdistani Alliance, Iraqi National Alliance and the Iraqiya Slate which will hold a meeting at the Parliament in order to unite the claims of blocs in one paper,” he added.
MP Tuma stressed “Later, the preparatory committee will hold another meeting to discuss the details of the united paperwork and set the agenda of the upcoming National Meeting.”
“We realized seriousness from all political sides participating in the meeting of the preparatory committee to continue and adopt dialogue as a base for settling political disputes,” according to MP Tuma.
“Representatives of the blocs agreed to adopt the constitution as a judge for dissolving disputes, reviewing the items of Erbil agreement that have not been implemented yet, discussing the authorities granted for the local governments and the relations between the Central Government and Local Governments,” he concluded.
The preparatory committee for the National Meeting has held its third meeting on last Sunday to overview the disputes among the political blocs and reaching a settlement for the current crisis in Iraq. /End/
