Sadr rejects imposing sanctions against Iran

Baghdad (AIN) –The Head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, announced his rejection of imposing sanctions against Iran.
In response to question by one of his followers, over the request of the Iraqi Government to exclude Iraq from the sanctions that will be imposed against Iran, he replied "We rejections imposing sanctions against any country especially Iran, the Muslim neighbor," noting that "Confronting the sanctions should be avoided if it is to result in harming Iraqis."
The United State and some of the European Countries seek imposing sanctions against Iran due to its nuclear program. /End/
