KARBALA / Aswat al-Iraq: The Arab Summit is an Iraqi right, and Iraq has no obligation to give concession for the summit to be held in Baghdad, the First Deputy Parliament Speaker said today.
Qusai al-Sihail told Aswat al-Iraq that during his visit to Karbala, it was noted Iraq wants to build good relations with all Arab countries.
"Iraq will not give concessions in order for Arab leaders to attend, because it is an Iraqi right," he confirmed.
He pointed out that there is no Arab country rejecting attendance of the conference which is "something good and we welcome all Arab leaders if they took part".
Commenting on the National Conference, called for by President Jalal Talabani, he added "it will be a good chance to remedy all loopholes in Iraqi politics".
