PUK holds meeting today to name the candidates for the new government

Sulaymaniya (NINA) - The political bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan PUK holds a meeting today to discuss the names of candidates for ministerial positions in the new government.
A source in the political bureau of the PUK said, in a press statement, that a committee was formed to assess the PUK candidates for the ministerial positions in the seventh Kurdistan Regional Government, the committee submitted a memorandum to the PUK political bureau to find out its views on the candidates for ministerial positions, referring that it is necessary that the candidates are ratified by members of the political bureau.
Masoud Barzani, president of the Kurdistan region, is expected to assign Neijervan Barzani, candidate of the Kurdistan Democratic Party KDP to form the cabinet of the seventh government of the region in the near future as successor to the Government of Barham Salih. /End/
