With private Iraqi banks complain of actions taken by the Ministry of finance for non-acceptance of instruments and other measures hampering development. a high-level government official said that the agreement was between the Iraqi Government and the World Bank on the need to reform the banking and financial sector, said Director General of banking and credit in Central Bank of Iraq for economic "Walid Idi: morning that agreement work included the development of private banks and giving them equal opportunities with State banks.
He was the embodiment of the present agreement has been a meeting between Minister of finance and Central Bank Governor in the presence of advisers in both institutions in this regard to imposing an appropriate mechanism in other meetings out of the resolutions and recommendations of the serving process private banking sector and the public alike and granted these opportunities in accordance with the principle of differentiation that serve the requirements of development and reconstruction in Iraq.
