Iraq participates in the work of the eighteenth meeting of the Committee of the unified customs tariff of the Union of the Arab Customs Headquarters of the Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo to discuss the stages of the unified customs tariff and chapters 85 to 90 of the tariff schedules of device electrical and optical transport.
Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs at the University of Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Tuwaijri said that "this meeting is dedicated to the adoption of tariffs of national chapters of 84 to 85 and the introduction of national definitions for classes 86 to 90", adding that "the tariff is one of the most important foundations and pillars for the establishment of the Arab Customs Union, which is the second phase after the completion of the trade area the Greater Arab Free, in preparation to enter the final stage of achieving Arab economic integration to establish the Arab common market.
