Erbil (AIN) –The General Directorate for Investment in Erbil province declared that "The investments value, in Erbil province only, has reached to $ 12 billion until now.
The General Director of Investment Department in Erbil province, Nejat Babir siad in a statement to AIN "The current local and foreign capital invested in Erbil reaches up to $ 12 billion," stressing that, "This amount is increasing on daily bases."
He added "During the last two months, the investors were granted (24) licenses to invest in Erbil province in addition to receiving (255) requests to invest in fields concerning housing, Trade, education and many other fields."
Babir pointed out "For the first time in Kurdistan region, two big factories will be established in Erbil province, the first factory to produce olive oil, and the second to produce glass.
