Baghdad (AIN) - State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO) announced on last Thursday that the exportation of the Iraqi Oil was reduced in last February to reach 2.0104 million barrels per day compared to 2.106 million barrels per day in January.
A report published by SOMO stated that Iraq shipped 1.639 million from the southern oil port of Basra in February, whereas the rate in January was 1.711 million.
The report also mentioned that the reason for the reduction of the exportation is the bad
weather conditions in Basra as well as some technical problems in the northern Kirkuk
oilfields.
