Iraq Feb core inflation slightly higher at 6.3 pct yr/yr

BAGHDAD, March 14 (Reuters) - Iraq's core inflation rate rose slightly to 6.3 percent in February from 6.1 percent in January because of rising food prices, Mudher Kasim, deputy governor of the central bank, said.
Core inflation strips out fuel prices.
Iraq is slowly rebuilding after decades of war and economic sanctions. Its economy is dominated by oil which accounts for around 95 percent of government revenue.
