Baghdad (AIN) –Member of the Services and Construction Parliamentary Committee, Kamila al-Musawi, of revealed that "A Parliamentary Committee was formed in order to activate the Infrastructure law in the provinces."
She stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) "The Committee involved three Parliamentary Committee represented by the Services and Construction, the Economy and Investment as well as the Finance Committee."
"The Committee held its meeting which was presented by the representatives of these committees," she added, noting that "37 Trillions IQD were allocated for activating the law to upgrade the infrastructure all over the Iraqi provinces."
"The law was supposed to be activated during the former parliamentary rotation yet it was hindered because some blocs were concerned that this law might be exploited in the electoral propaganda," she mentioned.
"The law will participate in reducing the citizen's suffering by eliminating the problems that he suffered from years ago," she concluded.
MP, Hussien al-Marabi, presented a proposal to involve this law within the budget of 2012 yet some blocs rejected. /End/
