Cyprus Airways launches first flight to Erbil.

Landed at the airport in Erbil yesterday afternoon, the first airline to Cyprus, carrying government officials, businessmen and investors, marking the launch of flights to the Kurdistan region. According to officials of the Cyprus Airways, this line will connect the Kurdistan region of Iraq European countries, being the carrier National transport of passengers through the airport, "Larnaca" in Cyprus to many countries. In a statement to reporters during a ceremony that took place in the Erbil International Airport by the way, said Director General of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kurdistan Regional Government Azad, Omar said the move will encourage investment and promote relations between the two sides, a reference to the opening of the air route.
