Praised the United States Barack Obama, the positive role of Iraq in the region, stressing his country's commitment to the unity of Iraq and its democratic system.
A government source said on Tuesday: President Barack Obama congratulated Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, during a telephone conversation, the success of the Arab summit which was held in Baghdad.
The source added: that Obama's eighth positive role of Iraq in the region, is certain: his country's commitment to the unity of Iraq and its democratic system.
He said the U.S. president to his country's commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region.
The source continued: Maliki thanked Obama for his country's commitment to preserve the Iraqi funds and not compromised.
