Iraqi List MP Abdul Karim Mahood
"Gate of Iraq" BAGHDAD - The Iraqi List, called a news conference on Saturday the government to return to the logic of reason, wisdom and strength strongly non-transient power and put the interests of the nation above all other considerations.
A member of the coordinating body for the coalition in Iraq Karim Mahood at a news conference Saturday that "the Iraqi demands to stay away from exclusion and marginalization, procrastination and commitment to the pledges and agreements, particularly the Convention on the Arbil, which created the Convention on the current government."
He added, "we also call to stand at the same distance in all national entities and protection of all the political entities participating in the political process and the protection of its members and their headquarters, and condemn the recent targeting of the long seat of the National Accord Movement in the holy city of Karbala."
He said Mahood said "stay away from interfering in the judiciary and the work on the independence and end the file of detainees who have not found guilty prosecuted and detained without a warrant and detained opinion as well as accountability for negligence and to allow international institutions to visit prisons and detention centers and look at the conditions of detainees," and urged to "re-structure and correlation configurations security problem outside the framework of the law. "
And on the Arab summit conference, said Mahood, "The Arab summit is the maturity of my people for all Iraqis, but we note a reservation to all practices leading up to the Arab Summit of disruption to people's interests and the arrest of citizens at random," noting that "we emphasize the need to continue to Iraq with the Arab world."
And the political process Mahood said that "the Iraqi List, you see that the political process has reached an impasse that threatens the unity and the future of Iraq, which can not be for the National Conference or the other it goes back to the track that there were not sincere intentions based on the basis of true reconciliation."
Mahood and called to "leave the party and factional interests and to return to the Iraqi people and the fight against corruption and the corrupt who wreaked havoc in the land."
