Iraq, Jordan, Kurdistan meet to facilitate trade exchange

Baghdad (NINA) – The 4th joint meeting between Iraq, Jordan, and Kurdistan region was held today present by representatives of ministries of Transport, Interior, and the Chamber of Commerce from the Jordanian side, and the representatives of ministries of Interior, Finance, and Transport from the Iraqi government, in addition to representatives from ministries of Industry, Transport, Interior, and Finance from the Kurdistan Regional Government.
Patriotic Union of Kurdistan PUK website quoted today that the spokesman of the Ministry of Transport in the KRG, Omed Mohammed Salih, as saying “the aim behind holding such a meeting is to find available means to transport and facilitate the trade exchanges between Baghdad, Jordan and the region.”
He referred that a memorandum of understanding will be signed today that serves the interests of the three parties. /End/
