Baghdad (AIN) -The Consultancy Bureau in the Council of Ministers declared allocating IQD (100) billion to launch reformation for the governmental companies.
The Chairman of the bureau, Thamer al-Ghadhban said in a statement received by (AIN) "The Consultancy Bureau after finalizing the workshop which was formed by the team of reconstructing the public utilities in the bureau with the concerned sides to lay a road map for reforming the governmental companies, comes after endorsing the 2012 budget which included allocating IQD 100 billion to rehabilitate the public utilities and to discuss preparing the investment files in the concerned companies each according to its ministry."
He added "We discussed the most prominent factors affecting the companies' performance most notably the powers included in law (22) for 1997, the central instructions, the optimal investment for the national action forces, also discussing the required plans to develop the work in all ministries which have companies related to the government, and the possibility of attracting advanced companies in the reconstructing and developing field."
Ghadhban pointed out "The bureau in coordination with the concerned sides, stressed the necessity of preparing the required plans according to the road map of the Council of Ministers and the bureau also set plan to promote the private sector."
The statement referred to "The workshop which lasted two days and was attended by the Acting Minister of Housing and Construction, the advisors of Trade and Industry ministries, the Directors General of the concerned companies, besides representatives from the International Bank and the experts and advisors of the bureau." /End/
