Kuwait-Iraq Joint Commission postpones meeting until next week

Baghdad (newsletter) ...The joint high Committee postponed Kuwait meeting next week after the scheduled day.
Foreign Ministry source said (News Agency news) on Sunday: Kuwait-Iraq Joint Commission meeting postponed to next week after scheduled for Sunday, as a result of travel of Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari outside Iraq and concern the Kuwaiti side in a number of domestic issues.
The source added: that agreement has been reached between Iraq and Kuwait on the postponement of the meeting, to be held exclusively in the next week, in the presence of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the two countries and the members of the Committee to discuss the outstanding issues between the two sides and come up with solutions that satisfy both parties.
Was Iraq and Kuwait had agreed to hold the second session of the joint higher Committee Kuwait in Baghdad during the first half of April being headed by the Foreign Ministers of the two countries.
The Iraqi delegation led by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki in his visit to Kuwait for talks with the Emir of Kuwait about the detailed overall issues Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations and reached a number of understandings about the debt settlement company, Iraqi Airways and achievement of a final settlement and cease all proceedings on the Kuwaiti side and legal claims on the company and Iraqi property.
