I'm glad to see that this meeting has been pushed up (for a change instead of postponed)a week ahead as well as Maliki going to Iran a week earlier the day before the re-scheduled meeting.... Haven't heard a word (or discussion) about the announcement made prior to the Arab Summit when they approved the forerunner for replacing Maliki. Who knows just what's happening behind closed doors.....something's up.

Yes, you may be right. Since when do they do something ahead of their schedule, they don't! So, I am liking this very much. Be interesting to see how it all plays out.

What IF....they had their National Conference and they've been meeting secretly as with the approved PM replacement...with a newly formed transitional GOI while Maliki is out. They could save face and show stability and security instead of dragging dirt on Maliki who gets a 1-way ticket to Iran. Everything would be implemented and Shabibi could feel confident to RV their currency and they'd be out of Ch. 7.
