Baghdad announces the implementation of 800 projects during 2012

Baghdad, April 24 (Rn) - The province of Baghdad on Tuesday for most of the Provisions of Plan projects within its budget for the year 2012 and $ 800 billion dinars, which been allocated 700 billion dinars to the secretariat of Baghdad.
The deputy governor of Baghdad, Mohammed Al Shammari told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "the province of Baghdad will be implemented nearly 800 projects and a small average balance during 2012, $ 800 billion dinars after the allocation of 700 billion dinars to the Municipality of Baghdad."
He added that he "has been allocated 100 billion dinars for the establishment of sewage systems and the implementation of infrastructure projects and the allocation of 150 billion dinars for housing projects and low cost and with 150 billion has been allocated for the rehabilitation of power stations and power transmission grids."
He said, "has been allocated 30 billion for the health sector where they will be building 3 hospitals per 200 beds capacity in addition to the establishment of 20 dispensaries in different parts of the capital, Baghdad."
He pointed out that "has been allocated 40 billion dinars for the construction and rehabilitation of schools and support the educational sector and the allocation of 15 billion dinars to support the agricultural sector and the creation of lined channel between the Tigris and the Nahrawan to save 80 000 acres of desertification."
He pointed out that "the ministry has developed a plan for the construction of 8 libraries similarity Cultural Center in Mutanabi Street, the amount of $ 15 billion dinars," noting that "the remainder of the budget, amounting to 300 billion dinars will be the implementation of the remaining projects from the budget in the amount of 9 draft strategy."
And that "the university sector has not allocated any money as directed by the Ministry of Planning, which confirmed the need to exchange budget for 2012 to maintain the current infrastructure projects."
The province of Baghdad and spent the last year 69% of its budget allocated to them financial.
Topped the governorates of Anbar and Salahuddin provinces to the list of its budget that was completed by 100%, while the appended list of the provinces of Basra, at least for the achievement of financial balance, reaching 24%.
Many complain of the provincial councils of the restriction imposed by the federal government, as well as disable the Law 21 of 2008, which granted broad powers.
