Talabani discuss with the President of the Council of the judiciary ways of strengthening and consolidating the rule of law

{Baghdad: Euphrates news} search President Jalal Talabani in Baghdad late Saturday with the President of the Supreme Council of the judiciary, judge Medhat Mahmud, ways of strengthening and consolidating the rule of law as approved by the Constitution.
A presidential statement said that "President Talabani stressed during a meeting with the President of the higher judicial Council judge Medhat Al-Mahmoud need rely on the Constitution as a reference and access mechanism and respect for its provisions and stick to hard the principle of separation of powers and the maintenance of the independence of the judiciary".
Talabani referred to "the importance of completing the implementation of the commitments set forth in the Constitution and the adoption of essential legislation.
