Shafaq News/ A source close to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, revealed on Wednesday, that the latter met the second man in the Sadrist movement, Mustafa Yacoubi and informed him that the government's failure to provide services is the responsibility of the ministers of the Sadrist movement, while stressing that the release of detainees following the Sadrist movement is not within the authority of Prime Minister.

Mustafa Yacoubi is the second man in the Sadrist movement, and the first assistant to the current leader Moqtada al-Sadr.
The source said that "al-Maliki told Yacoubi that government's failure to improve services is the responsibility which Sadrist ministers bear, and that he would not compromise on the file Sadrist detainees who are accused of terrorism, murder, and that the release of detainees is not within the authority of the Prime Minister."

"
Political observers say that the consultative meeting between the five leaders, which was held in Erbil, the end of the month of last April, and its outcome is a protest against the policy of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in power, where partners described him as "to posses the decision alone," as well as a"dictator."
