Talabani, delegations from State of Law, Dawa Party affirm necessity to calm down situation

Baghdad (NINA) – President Jalal Talabani and a delegation representing State of Law Alliance and Dawa Party affirmed necessity to calm down situation and take up national and services issues.
A statement issued on Thursday, June 14, by the President's Office said that Talabani received on Thursday evening in Sulaymaniya a delegation from State of Law Alliance and Dawa Party, consisted of Abdul Haleem al-Zihairi and Hassan al-Sinaid.
The statement added that in the meeting stress was put on the necessity to step up efforts toward calming down the situation an removing obstacles hindering fraternal constructive dialogue and take up national and services issues.
The delegation praised President Talabani's efforts toward narrowing differences and expanding the space of agreement and joint work between active sides, the statement concluded. / End.
