Urgent .. Nineveh provincial council voted against the decision of a majority of the owners to sack Najafi

Twilight News / Council voted Nineveh province, on Tuesday evening, to reject the governor, Ethel Nujaifi from his post on the decision of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
Said council member Lamia al-Dabbagh's "Twilight News", "Nineveh provincial council voted at its meeting held today on the survival of the conservative Ethel Nujaifi in office by 21 votes."
Dabbagh said that "the meeting saw differences between voting for the survival of Najafi and his opponents, as the Shabak minority boycotted the session and Alaesiden and the Movement for Justice and Reform for refusing to stay Najafi."
Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki had agreed to a request by members of the Council to dismiss the governor of Nineveh province, Ethel Najafi, and raise it to the House of Representatives for a vote.
