Iraq received an official invitation to participate to the International Conference on Syria
Announced that the Iraqi Foreign Ministry received an official invitation from the Joint Special Envoy of the United Nations and the League of Arab Syria Kofi Annan to participate in the International Conference on Syria end of this month.
, the ministry said in a statement it issued, that the Iraqi government received an official invitation from the Joint Special Envoy of the United Nations and the Arab League to Syria Kofi Annan, to participate in the Ministerial Meeting of the High-Level Event on Syria, indicating that the meeting will be held in Geneva on June 30 the current.
The ministry said that Iraq's call for the meeting came to being the head of the Arab League summit, noting that the Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari will represent Iraq in this meeting to present his vision to resolve the crisis the Syrian, as an active countries in the Arab and regional issues and a neighbor of Syria.
