Abdul-Mahdi, and Kubler emphasize the need to speed up the election of new national electoral commission

A statement by the office of Abdul Mahdi, the Agency has received all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today that "Abdul-Mahdi met with Kubler in his office in Baghdad was in place during the meeting, they discussed the upcoming provincial elections.
"The two sides stressed the need to speed up the election of new Commission for the elections or extend the work of the current commission for holding the elections on schedule, and otherwise it will not be able to take place on time."
The statement said that "has been addressed during the meeting to hopefully take steps to remove Iraq from Chapter VII, as well as discuss what has been reached to transfer proceedings from the residents of Camp Ashraf in Diyala to Camp Liberty in Baghdad."
The statement quoted Martin Kobler that these issues will be the focus of his report, which will be presented during the next few weeks to the Secretary-General of the United Nations. "
