Zibari inaugurates Iraqi Embassy in Paris

Baghdad (AIN) –The Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zibari inaugurated on Thursday the new building of the Iraqi Embassy in the French Capital, Paris.
A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry received by AIN cited on Thursday “Zibari assured during the inauguration ceremony that inaugurating the Iraqi Embassy in Paris comes within a project to inaugurate 12 embassies and consulates during 2012 and mentioned that the FM bought and rehabilitated 80 buildings after 2003.”
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the advisor of the Iraqi Prime Minister Fadhil Mohammed Jawad, French officials as well as directors of the Total and Allestom French Companies and Iraqi and Arab media outlets, the statement added.
The Iraqi-French relations witnessed a considerable improvement since the visit of the French President Nicolas Sarkozy to Iraq in 2008. /End/
