Iraq Minister of Planning: Iraq to put an end to housing crisis

Iraq Ministry of Planning revealed on Thursday a new strategy to the Cabinet in order to raise the petrodollar budget and stressed on expanding the provinces powers in choosing projects. Meanwhile Aldiwaniya deputy governor stressed on the necessity of expanding the powers granted to the local governments.
Iraq Minister of Planning Ali Youssof Shukri told Alsumarianews on the margin of his meeting with officials in AL Diwaniah province today that there is a new strategy suggested to the Cabinets regarding increasing petrodollar budget and allocating instead amounts of money for oil producing provinces who suffer from the side effects of oil producing. To that he added that there are a lot of provinces that does not have an oil wealth and has a large population.
Shukri added that his government made new plans in assigning plans projects for provinces and that thru specifying the nature and the kind of projects by the regional governments. Iraq is heading towards putting an end to the housing crisis he added. Two kinds of builds are to be built the first will be distributed for free for people living in slums and the other part is to be sold by settlements all along 25 years for poor families.
To that the Minister also revealed that the Cabinet decided to build 5000 school in Iraq and added that there will be studies to determine how these schools will be distributed.
