BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Legal advisor Tariq Harb said today that the present government is "constitutional and legal" despite not naming the security ministers till now.
He added that "there is no legal text stipulates naming the ministers within thirty days".
Harb was commenting on news that some MPs will send a question to the Federal Court to determine the legitimacy of the government.
Harb clarified to Aswat al-Iraq that the answer of the court will verify the constitutional aspect of the government.
Ex-Interior Minister and MP said in a press statement yesterday that there is an inclination of some MPs to ask the Federal Court.
Harb added that this matter is "a media question, not more", because the constitution did not determine the number of the ministries, or vacant positions.
