Iraq calls for the United States to activate the strategic cooperation agreement

called President Jalal Talabani and Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on Monday to activate the cooperation agreement strategic between Iraq and the United States, at the time he met the House Speaker Osama Najafi and Deputy Prime Minister Ruz Nuri Shawis separately the U.S. special envoy for Iraq.

At the outset of the ceremony, received President Talabani credentials of the new Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Lech Stefaneka, and stressed the importance of strengthening and expanding the cooperation relations between the Republics of Iraq and Poland in various fields, for the good of the peoples of the two countries.

During the meeting, President Talabani stressed the need to strengthen the friendly relations between the Republic of Iraq and the United States. And the price of His Excellency the big role of the United States of America and its support for the Iraqi people during their struggle for liberation from dictatorship. President also noted the importance of expanding and strengthening relations of cooperation through the strategic cooperation agreement signed between the two countries, for the benefit of the two friendly peoples.
