Iraq form a committee to monitor the currency transferred abroad

Twilight News / Iraq's cabinet decided on Tuesday to form a committee to monitor the sale of hard currency and the conversion movement abroad.

The government said in a statement received "Twilight News" a copy of the Council of Ministers decided to "the formation of a committee headed by a representative of the Central Bank and the membership of representatives from the ministries of interior, finance and trade shall exchange information on the movement of currency sold by the central bank."

The statement added that sent through the mail, it will fall on the Commission "to configure a database for use in control of the currency movement."

The central bank will provide a quarterly report on its supervision on the banking companies authorized external switch, consideration will also be given to the Committee on Economic Affairs on the authorization of government and private banks validity of the opening credits for the purposes of trade import coverage of the private sector.

According to the statement, the central bank will report the development of banks in their proper role and in line with the financial volume of the Iraqi economy with the necessity of regulating trade and followed up by government agencies which will reflect the request of the foreign currency.
