Baghdad (AIN) –The member of the Economy and Investment Parliamentary Committee, Ibrahim al-Rikabi, ruled out possibility of settling the economic problems or ending poverty in Iraq through the 2013 general budget.
Rikabi stated to AIN on Friday "The 2013 budget will partially help settle the economic rather than generally since the major part of the budget is allocated for the operative side," noting that "The investment side s not enough to do this task."
"The budget does not pay enough attention to the poor people and the retirees and neglected the issue of improving the items of ration card," he concluded.
