Dr. Jaafari receives U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Stephen Beecroft

HE Dr. Ibrahim Jaafari, head of the National Alliance in his office in Baghdad U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Stephen Beecroft.
The two sides reviewed the progress of the political process in Iraq, and the challenges they face, and ways to contain problems finding appropriate solutions.
Jaafari stressed during the meeting the need for cooperation of the Iraqi political parties to end the tensions, and thinking solution project, and work seriously on dissolving differences, and contain the crisis.
For his part, Mr. Ambassador on his country's support for the democratic process in Iraq, and stressed the importance of the role played by al-Jaafari in the convergence of views between the political parties.
During the meeting also discussed the possibility of developing cooperation between the two countries, as well as to discuss the developments on the international and regional levels.
