Kurdistan Region announces supply electricity 24 hours in Ramadan

Twilight / Ministry said electricity in the Kurdistan Regional Government, on Tuesday, an increase in the number of hours of national power to coincide with the month of Ramadan.
The Minister of electricity in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq Yasin Abu Bakr, said in a statement received (Twilight) a copy of it, that "due to increasing the number of hours of national power (in the region) to 21 hours a day, 3 hours preparing for the generators civil depending on the program the subject by the Ministry of Electricity."
The rate of processing houses in the three governorates of the region during the month of June, twenty hours per day, while the civil generators provide electricity during the period of cutting the amount of four hours.
The measure, according to the statement in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, which confirmed the ministry to "make efforts to increase the number of hours of processing in the national electricity this month."
It is noteworthy that the Kurdistan Regional Government confirms that it has been able to achieve the independence of the energy sector in the region, after the increase of domestic production and maintain the water levels Dokan and Darbandikhan which generate electricity as well, in addition to the arrival rate of import electricity from Turkey and the national network of Iraq to zero.
